The purpose of this comprehensive seminar is to enhance the Doctor of Chiropractic’s knowledge of the care of the aging population, The current growth of the population ages 65 and older, driven by the large baby boom generation—those born between 1946 and 1964—is unprecedented in U.S. history.
This aging of the U.S. population has brought both challenges and opportunities to the economy, infrastructure, and myriad institutions, particularly, the health care industry. It is imperative that the Doctor of Chiropractic recognizes the current and projected shifts in increasing age-related demographics and develops strategies to address the health care needs of an aging population.
