Illinois Chiropractic Continuing Education Credit Hours Requirement – Illinois requires 150 hours every 3 years.

Illinois Online Credit Hours allowed – Illinois accepts 150 hours of Online Continuing Education courses per renewal period.

60 hours must be Formal CME and 90 hours must be Informal CME .

The following are Approved Formal and Informal CME programs. These courses can also be taken as an optional form of Informal hours or self study.

Illinois Mandatory Hours Required

Sexual Harassment Prevention Training – Beginning for renewals after 1/1/2020

All Illinois licensees that are subject to a continuing education requirement must complete a 1 hour course in sexual harassment prevention training. Completing this 1 hour course may be counted towards the minimum credit hours required for continuing education.

Illinois CE requirements are subject to change. Licensee’s are responsible for being up to date with the Illinois CEU requirements.
