California Chiropractic Continuing Education Credit Hours Requirement – California Requires 24 hours every year

California Online Credit Hours allowed – California accepts 12 hours of online continuing education per renewal period

California Chiropractic Board Approved CE Courses:

1.  2 Hour Ethics (Approved for Mandatory hours) – CA-D-25-04-03027 (Ethics and Law Category)
2.  4 Hour Documentation Essentials (Approved for Mandatory hours) – CA-D-25-04-03028 (History Taking and Physical Exam)  and CA-D-25-04-03029 (Ethical Billing and Coding)
3.   6 hour The Impact of Chiropractic on Sports Injuries and Performance- CA-D-25-04-03030
4.  6 Hour The Impact of Nutritional Supplementation on Health – CA-D-25-04-03031

California Mandatory Hours Required –

• 2 hours in Ethics and Law and
• A minimum of 4 hours in any one of, or a combination of, history taking and Physical Examination Procedures, Chiropractic Adjustive Techniques or Chiropractic Manipulation Techniques, or Proper Ethical Billing and Coding.

California CE requirements are subject to change. Licensee’s are responsible for being up to date with the California CEU requirements.
